They made it!

This time we're writing about something very special.
After a whole year of work, 18 children of Fundacion Bella Flor have finally made it! Their book is being published and it will be launched at the Bogota book fair (see the official invitation) !!! It's a invaluable achievement for these kids, for Bella Flor and for us all. We would love to be there to share this moment with all of them. Well done!

Good news! The book "letras del Sur", written by our young friends and published also thanks to YOUR HELP will be presented at the Bogota book fair (Feria del libro) on August 12th.

Fundea Project

Recently we have received pictures of the FUNDEA project implementation. In them, FUNDEA friends show us how they have used YOUR HELP (through Stichting Colombia Activa). The objective of this project is to provide equipment and materials for increasing the number of adolescent mothers that receive instruction as fine-chocolatiers. The final aim is to provide this vulnerable group, with high rate of scholar desertion, with knowledge and experience in their way to be economically-independents.

Sol y Cine Filmfestival

Hi all!
Last June 21, we have celebrated. together with Lumen Filmhuis, the filmfestival "Sol y Cine". A nice opportunity to keep us in touch and get an update of the last news of Stichting Colombia Activa.
The activity was a sucess with a high participation of very nice people!... you :) .... we also confirm a fundrising of around 1000eu, which will be part of the help for this year projects. Thanks to all you for your company.
